Greetings, Moose Sisters!
Greetings!
So much to celebrate! In June we celebrated our new Academy of Friendship Sisters, in August we will celebrate our new Stars and in November we will celebrate our new College of Regents, tassel changes and red stole recipients. We need to make these celebrations special, they are open meetings and anyone can attend.
By the time you read this we will have already been at the International Convention in Oklahoma City. This will be a very important and exciting time for the state of Wisconsin.
Our Annual Convention is just around the corner. While I haven’t received the information yet from the WOTM office, I’m sure it will be here soon. In preparation for the Annual Convention, please remember that there will be a March of Checks for the Moosehaven Beauty Shop at our Golden Gavel Conferral. Checks should be made out to Moose Charities and earmarked for the Moosehaven Beauty Shop.
And then before you know it, October will be here. The October Chapter Committee will be celebrating Christmas in October, this too can be an open meeting. And of course, Rally Days will be in October as well. The Rally Day planning committee has been very busy. Our theme will be “The Oscars” and we will all get a chance to walk the red carpet.
I forgot to mention that our January Committee is the Golden Gavel Committee, another chance for an open meeting. So we have the opportunity to have five open meetings per year, June for AOF, August for Star, October for Christmas in October, November for COR and January for Golden Gavel. Lots of celebrating and opportunities to invite non-members to our meetings to show them who we are, what we do and explain why we do it.
Our Children and Mooseheart, Seniors at Moosehaven and our communities truly do appreciate all that we do.
