No Moose Member Walks Alone — A Holiday Message from the WMA Chaplain

As we enter the holiday season, our calendars fill with celebrations, family gatherings, and special events. While this is a joyful time for many, it can also be challenging for those facing illness, loss, or personal struggles.

One of the greatest aspects of being part of the Moose family is knowing that we are never alone. As your Wisconsin Moose Association Chaplain, I wish to remind everyone of the importance of looking out for our fellow Brothers and Sisters.

If you know of a Moose member who is ill, hospitalized, recovering from surgery, grieving the loss of a loved one, or simply going through a tough time, please inform me. Sickness and distress reports are crucial for staying connected and offering support, encouragement, and prayers when they’re needed most.

Sometimes the smallest gestures make the biggest difference. A phone call, a card, a visit, or simply letting someone know they’re being thought of can brighten even the darkest day.

As we approach Thanksgiving and Christmas, I encourage each of you to reach out to a member you haven’t seen in a while. Check on someone who may be spending the holidays alone. Take a moment to remind someone that they matter.

Being a Moose isn’t just about the good times we share—it’s about being there for one another when life gets difficult. Please continue to report sickness and distress so that no member of our Wisconsin Moose family feels forgotten. Remember to respect members’ privacy and share only information they or their families are comfortable having shared.

Wishing each of you a holiday season filled with peace, comfort, good health, and the warmth of our Moose family. Together, we can make sure no Moose member walks alone.

Fraternally,
Amy Boivin
Wisconsin Moose Association Chaplain
