A Message from WMA President John Springsteen

It’s only been half a month since becoming your WMA President, and it has already been a busy one!

I returned from Stevens Point after our Annual Convention and then turned around the following weekend to travel to the Minnesota Annual Convention. It was a pleasure to celebrate once again with Steve Hennen, Moose Legion President, and Mark Penzkover, C.O.B., as their Official Visitor. I also can’t forget all the Wisconsin members who came out for the weekend to show their support and celebrate with us.

The traveling didn’t stop there! I was back in Upper Wisconsin, this time in Chippewa Falls, for John Abraham’s Pilgrim Celebration. Everyone I talked with was asking, “Where’s Nicole?” and offering even more congratulations on my appointment as your WMA President. Well, Nicole and I are usually together at most Moose events, but sometimes that JOB gets in the way, and she had to stay behind! We look forward to seeing everyone at Mooseheart in December for Senior Portrait and Tree Lighting.

My President’s Project this year is to support the Down Syndrome Association of Wisconsin, and I’ll be sharing more information with everyone in the weeks to come.

It has been an incredible start to this journey, and I’m truly grateful for all the congratulations, support, and warm welcomes along the way. I’m looking forward to seeing where the rest of this year takes us!

Thank you all for your continued support, and I hope to see you soon!
