Coming back from the pandemic- Mike Rynearson
Brothers and Co-Workers
In this very difficult and unsure time, it is important that we all work together to keep our members safe and healthy, and as informed as can be. Communication is going to be a key factor in overcoming this challenge and ensure that the future of our Lodge and our fraternity has the best possible options we can afford it.
First and foremost how are you and your family? The precautions may seem a bit extreme but necessary to keep our family safe. Is there anything that we, as a Moose Family can do to help you and your family? If so, please let me know and I will do what I can to help.
As with your safety, the safety of all of our members is a big concern. The Lodge will continue to follow all safety protocols instituted by the state and local governments. That being said, there are considerable questions regarding the future of our Lodge. Now more than ever we need our Moose family to stick together and we NEED YOUR HELP. To ensure we will come back, and come back strong, we need your suggestions and your support when we begin moving forward. Now is the time to set our plans in motion so we can hit the ground running when the time comes.
We are looking for any ideas you have with:
- Sports (euchre, horseshoes, golf, etc.)
- Social (Special dinners, wine & painting, trivia, etc.)
- Holidays (Memorial Day, Mother’s Day, Father’s day, 4th of July, etc.)
- Family (Kids crafts, movie night, Halloween party, etc.)
- Heart of the Community (Adopt-a-highway, fundraisers, sponsor scouting, valued veterans, etc.)
This is your Lodge, and your membership makes you vested in our future. Without our members, we would have no Lodge. Please keep your dues current and get involved. If your dues will be expiring, when was the last time you have checked your rewards points? Once enough points are accumulated, they can be used to pay your annual dues (as long as you are current at the time of redemption). There are also several simple ways to get points. Sign your first-ever member and you will earn 6,000 points. Renew your dues and earn 250 points. Consider serving in a Lodge office position, earning 8,000 points for each year you’re an officer. You can go to the international web site (Mooseinternational.org) under programs and events to find more information on the “Moose Rewards’ program, currently you have xxx points.
I appreciate your membership and know that if we all work together, not only will we overcome this hurdle, but will rise out of this stronger than before.
Remember – MOOSE PROUD – MOOSE STRONG
God Bless Mooseheart and God Bless Moosehaven
