From Wisconsin’s Moose Supreme Council Member
Greetings to all after my two month newsletter hiatus! It’s hard to believe that we are now a quarter of the way through 2017! February and March were very busy Moose months for me, including a Supreme Council meeting in Tampa, two trips to Mooseheart, an awesome weekend in Green Bay for the Wisconsin Moose Association Mid-Year Conference, a trip to Oklahoma, a trip to Missouri to serve as Official Visitor for their Association Mid-Year Conference, and a trip to Indiana to wrap up March. April should be a great and memorable month for Wisconsin Moose members. Supreme Governor Fritz Griswold and his wonderful wife Beth will be visiting several lodges at the beginning of the month, including West Bend, Sheboygan, and Menomonie. At the end of the month, Kenosha will host the International Youth Awareness Congress! On Wisconsin! April also brings a close to our fiscal year, so please work on retention. Please also keep in mind our special membership campaign that honors active military and first responders. For a limited time, active military and first responders can join the Moose for free (enrollment and first years dues are waived)! Membership is the key to the sustainability of our organization. Please do your part to “Sign a member, Save a member”. We all need to continue inviting our qualified friends, family, and acquaintances to join our great fraternity. Together, we can get to a Plus One. I hope everyone has a great April, including a wonderful Easter holiday spent with family and friends. I look forward to seeing many of you down at Mooseheart on June 3rd for the Graduation , Pilgrim Ceremony, and cookout at the Wisconsin Home! As always, thank you for all that you do for the Moose, Mooseheart, Moosehaven, and our communities. We are making a difference in so many lives!
God Bless and take care.
